ADACAS Service during ACT Lockdown

ADACAS staff are working from home during the ACT Lockdown. This will not affect the quality of the service we provide, but it will have some impact on how you contact us, and how we contact you.

The quickest way for us to respond to you is via email. So please send an email with any queries you may have.

You can still reach ADACAS by calling (02) 6242 5060 as we are staffing our phones between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday. However, please be aware that we may not be able to answer every call and you may need to leave a voice message.  We will endeavour to respond to your email or phone call within 2 business days.

If you are a service provider or you would like to refer a friend or family member to our service, and have received their consent to do so, we ask that you complete our online referral form.

 Systemic Advocacy

ADACAS is continuing to work closely with a range of social justice organisations:  ACT Council of Social Services, Disability Advocacy Network of Australia, the Mental Health Community Coalition and our OPAN colleagues, as well as with government, community organisations, and service providers to ensure that there are adequate responses to the needs of people with disability, people with mental ill-health, older people and carers throughout the lockdown.

ADACAS will collate and report on the common issues that arise, and pursue changes with other key stakeholders and government. If you are aware of issues or have ideas how people with disability, people with mental ill-health, older people and carers can be better supported through this time, please contact us.
