Local minibus services are available to help older persons get around their communities:
Flexible Bus Service
A fleet of wheel chair accessible mini buses operate Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm to help older persons to get from their home to local community locations. People eligible for this service include:
• seniors card holders with mobility issues
• seniors card holders aged 70 or over
• people living in a nursing home and/or retirement village
• holders of a Vision Impaired (VIP), or Total and Permanently Incapacitated (TPI) travel pass.

Community Bus Service
Canberra’s five regional community services operate community bus services within their own areas. Pickup and set down points can be negotiated when making a booking with your local community service.
