This is an Australia wide 24 hour phone line offering crisis support, information and immediate referral to specialist counselling for anyone who has experienced or is affected by sexual assault, or domestic or family violence.

Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS)
The DVCS provides support to all members of families who have experienced domestic violence. Their Staying@Home program supports women and their families so they can stay safely in their homes after they have left an abusive relationship. Their Room4Change program supports men who want to stop using violence and controlling behaviours. Their Young Peoples Outreach program supports children and young people.

Canberra Rape Crisis Centre (CRCC)
CRCC counselling and support is available free of charge for all women, men and children who have experienced any form of sexual assault or harassment recently or in the past. CRCC provides culturally appropriate holistic and family centred counselling for members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community through the Nguru progam. Counselling and support is provided to men over the age of 16 through the Service Assisting Male Survivors of Sexual Assault program. Counselling and support is available to people engaging with the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
