Every person has their own set of values and preferences. And every decision, and the degree of support you need to make that decision, is different. Our Supported Decision Making Consultations are customised to meet your specific needs.
We will work with you to thoroughly understand what is important to you, the decision to be made, and the degree of support you need. We will then work with you to support you through the decision making process, and to build your decision making capacity for the future.
Your values, will and preferences will be foremost in the decision making process.
Our consultations will provide you with the following outcomes:
- independent support when you have to make a decision
- a greater understanding of your rights to take risks
- being at the centre of the decision making process
- enhanced identity as a decision maker
- documentation of your decision.
People with a disability, mental ill-health or older people and their families, carer’s and supporters.
