An apprenticeship allows you to gain qualifications from Certificate II to Diploma level whilst you work in paid employment in a variety of occupations. Education costs are Government subsidised.

An ASBA offers students aged 15 or over the opportunity to train for a nationally recognised vocational qualification whilst at school. Students combine paid work and training with their school study program. Training is provided by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), this may be the school, CIT or a private provider.

Three Government supported training pathways are available to enable Canberrans to increase their skills and enhance their employment prospects. You may be eligible to receive support services throughout your training including:
