One in five Australians of working age identify as people with disability. Yet employment rates remain unequal — only 48% of people with disability are employed, compared with 80% of people without disability.
When workplaces remove barriers and offer genuine inclusion, people with disability thrive — contributing strong retention, fewer unplanned absences, diverse perspectives, and collaborative, creative problem-solving.

We can support you to build a genuinely inclusive workplace.

Our goal is to expand and strengthen employment opportunities for people with disability and people experiencing mental ill-health. We work alongside employers to build confidence, grow practical skills, and address myths and assumptions that can create unnecessary barriers. By increasing employers’ understanding, we help organisations recognise the value and strengths that disabled people bring to their workforce.

We offer support across the employee lifecycle, including:

  • Attraction and recruitment strategies
  • Becoming an employer of choice for people with disability
  • Developing inclusive position descriptions and job ads
  • Reaching a broad and diverse pool of candidates
  • Using case studies and inclusive, strengths-based language
