Advocacy for people with disability and mental ill health
ADACAS has been providing advocacy for people with disability and mental ill-health for more than 30 years. Our talented team are able to work with you to deal with issues that are impacting your life.
Advocacy for older people
It can be extremely difficult to ask where your aged care provider to do things differently or better – that’s where we come in. Our aged care advocates are here to help.
Accessing the National Redress Scheme
ADACAS provides free and confidential assistance for eligible people living in the ACT or on the South Coast to submit an application to the National Redress Scheme.
Whether you are just interested to learn more about the scheme or would like the support of a professional to assist you to be in your application, the ADACAS team is here to listen and help. We understand that this can be a stressful process and so we will work with you in a way that will best support you.
Employer Confidence
The Employer Confidence Program works with businesses to help them better understand the benefits of employing people with disability.
The team will work with you to look at different job designs, consider any reasonable adjustments, strengthen recruitment practices and support with retention.

If you are having trouble with your service provider, or encountered an issue that has been ignored, you can file a complaint.
