Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability

The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability was established on 4 April 2019 by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retired).

Monday the 16th of September 2019 was the first public sitting.

The Royal Commission are accepting direct submissions from members of the public. There is no closing date for submissions at this time.

If you would like to share your story with the Royal Commission but are unsure how, or would like help to do so, ADACAS can assist.

We can provide free and independent support to help you understand your options, and assist you to prepare and submit a statement to the Royal Commission.
